Student Council

Our Student Council provides students in Grades 4–12 with meaningful opportunities to develop leadership skills, responsibility, collaboration, and school pride.

Class Presidents (Grades 4–12)

Each class elects two Class Presidents — one boy and one girl — who serve as representatives of their peers.

Class Presidents:

  • Voice student ideas and concerns
  • Help organize school initiatives and activities
  • Promote positive school culture
  • Support communication between students and administration

This shared leadership model fosters inclusivity, responsibility, and balanced representation.

Elections Week – A Tradition of Leadership

Every year, during the first week of November, RSA hosts its highly anticipated Elections Week — a time filled with energy, excitement, and outstanding school spirit.
👑 School President Election
Three candidates run for School President, and each candidate forms a full leadership cabinet, including:
  • Vice President
  • Treasurer
  • Secretary
Each campaign includes:
  • A student-led presidential platform
  • Campaign promotions and team spirit
  • A formal speech delivered in front of the entire school community
Students and staff cast their votes, and the elected School President and cabinet begin serving their term with pride and purpose.
🌟 Building Leaders for the Future
Through the Student Council program, RSA students:
  • Practice public speaking and civic engagement
  • Learn the value of teamwork and service
  • Experience real-world leadership and democratic processes
  • Build confidence and school pride
The energy, creativity, and unity displayed during Elections Week reflect the strong sense of community that defines Rising Star Academy. At RSA, leadership begins early — and our students rise to the occasion every year.
