Technology Education

At Rising Star Academy, technology is not just a subject — it is a powerful tool for learning, creativity, and responsible digital citizenship.

Our Technology Education program serves students from KG–8th Grade, while maintaining a 1:1 Chromebook program for all students KG–12th Grade, ensuring every learner has direct access to digital resources that enhance instruction across all subject areas.

Computer Classes (KG–8)

Students build foundational and advanced skills through age-appropriate instruction that includes:

  • Balanced and responsible digital media use

  • Safe and ethical technology practices

  • Understanding and applying the problem-solving process

  • Creating prototypes of animations or simple game designs
